Pocopiano is a ceramic dish on a circular base. The trend of the shape returns a hollow inside it generated by a progressive slope. This dualism, a specific character of the plate, allows for the storage of different types of dishes and the "creation" of a game of textures.

The dinner plate and soup plate are the staples of the traditional table setting. However, in modern times, as we know, functions tend to blend and we love experimenting. What happens then, when the flat surface and concave shape merge into a sloping design? Just by adjusting the tilt, the plate becomes anything but... flat!
Instantly, the food starts to move around, sauces flow and gather where one can indulge in the most enjoyable and playful dining experience: the “scarpetta” (mopping up sauce with bread). This allows chefs to create unique textures and presentations. “Pocopiano,” as described by its creator, is “an invitation to tell a story, to embark on a journey and experience something new made of rituals, contrasts, and senses.
